Marine Services in La Paz, Mexico

La Paz is the cruiser capital of the Sea of Cortez. The combination of three or four marinas, a working haul-out yard (Atalanta), a stable expat cruiser community, and the spectacular Cortez cruising on the doorstep makes it the natural base for boats cruising the region. Prices are reasonable, the trades are friendly, and US parts shipping via the bus from San Diego is well established.

The town itself is a real Baja capital with everything ashore: provisioning, hardware (Bravo's is the cruiser favorite), good restaurants, and reliable medical care.
